Rukma Devi from Rajasthan needs your help

Rukma Devi is a widow who works as a labourer in a factory. Her son supports her in her labour work. Her daughter-in-law works as a house maid.

The couple has 2 small children. Currently they are in Rajasthan and due to the lockdown they have run out of money. There are no substantial savings to fall back on and when they take their ration card to a nearby ration shop, the shopkeeper always sends them back saying “show me your labour card otherwise you won’t get ration”.

It is a very difficult situation for them as they have little money to survive and so many stomachs to feed. To top it all they are not getting ration from the PDS shops which is causing even more trouble to them.
